After clicking Next on Step 3, the synchronization begins automatically and the Sync Progress page displays real-time status information.
Progress Overview
The top of the page shows the overall sync status:
Sync Progress: Header with entity count (e.g., "1 of 1 entities processed") and elapsed time
Completion Indicator: A percentage circle showing progress (e.g., "100%" with "Syncing data")
Summary Statistics
Five key metrics are displayed in boxes below the header:
Total: The total number of entities being synchronized
Done: Number of entities that have completed successfully
Active: Number of entities currently being processed
Errors: Number of entities that encountered errors
Records: Total number of records synchronized across all entities
Entity Progress Table
Below the statistics, a table shows detailed progress for each entity:
Entity: The logical name of the entity being synced
Records: Number of records processed for this entity
Time: How long this entity has been processing
Status: Current status (Waiting, Processing, Complete, or Error)
Canceling the Sync
If you need to stop the synchronization before it completes:
- Click the Cancel button at the bottom of the page.
- The current entity will complete its batch, then the sync will stop.
- Entities already marked "Complete" will retain their synchronized data.
⚠ Note: Canceling mid-sync means some entities may not be synchronized. You can re-run the sync later to synchronize remaining entities.
When Synchronization Completes
When all entities have been processed:
• The completion indicator will show 100%
• All entities will show "Complete" status (or "Error" if issues occurred)
• The Records count will show the total number of records synchronized
• You can navigate away or run another sync by selecting “Close” or “Finish”, selecting “Back to Setup” will take you back to step 3.
✓ Tip: Check the System Logs (Quick Actions on the landing page) for detailed information about any errors or warnings that occurred during synchronization.
