The Help & About page provides access to documentation, support options, and application information. Access the help WIKI directly from any process in the application by clicking Need help? Documentation in the footer at any time.
Page Overview
The page displays "Help & About" with the subtitle "Get help, view documentation, and learn more about this application". It provides quick access to support resources and developer tools.
Help Options
Four help-related action cards are available:
About
"View application information, version details, and credits"
Click View to see the current version number, build information, and acknowledgments.
View Help WIKI
"Access the online help documentation and user guides"
Click Open to launch the online documentation in your default web browser. Please note these are language specific, the appropriate help WIKI will open based on your existing language selection.
Log a Support Request
"Report an issue or request technical assistance from our AI support queue. Note this is a free tool with limited support."
Click Request to open the support request dialog.
Log a Support Request Dialog:
The dialog displays: "Please provide your contact information and describe the issue you're experiencing. You can attach screenshots or documents to help us understand the problem."
Required fields (marked with *):
• Email Address — Your contact email for support response
• First Name — Your first name
• Last Name — Your last name
• Issue Description — Detailed description of the problem you're experiencing
Optional field:
• Company — Your organization name
Attachments:
Click + Add File to attach screenshots or documents that help illustrate the issue.
Include System Logs:
A checkbox option (enabled by default) to "Attach system logs to help our support team diagnose the issue faster."
When enabled, displays the number of log files, total size, and date range that will be included.
Dialog buttons:
• Cancel — Close the dialog without submitting
• Submit Request — Send the support request with all information and attachments
💡 Tip: Keep "Include System Logs" enabled when reporting issues — the logs contain valuable diagnostic information that helps resolve problems faster. As DvSchemaSync is a free tool, support is provided on a best-effort basis.
Submit a Suggestion
"Share your ideas for new features or improvements"
Click Submit to open the suggestion dialog.

Required fields (marked with *):
• Email Address — Your contact email
• First Name — Your first name
• Last Name — Your last name
• Your Suggestion — Detailed description of your feature idea or improvement
Optional field:
• Company — Your organization name
Attachments (Optional):
Click + Add File to add mockups, screenshots, or documents to illustrate your idea.
Dialog buttons:
• Cancel — Close the dialog without submitting
• Submit Suggestion — Send your suggestion to the development team
💡 Tip: Include mockups or screenshots when suggesting UI changes — visual examples help the development team understand your vision and prioritize requests effectively.
Developer Tools
A separate "Developer Tools" section provides a utility for resetting your registration and acts as a place holder for future functionality:
Reset Registration
"Clear registration data to perform the registration flow again"
Click Reset to clear your registration information. This is primarily used for testing or if you need to re-register with different details.
⚠ Warning: Resetting registration will require you to complete the registration process again before using the application.
